PREMIUM SEMI-PERMANENT MAKEUP
Semi-Permanent Makeup (SPMU) is more than just a beauty treatment; it’s a lifestyle change. It offers the freedom to wake up feeling polished and confident every single day. By depositing pharmaceutical-grade pigments into the dermal layer of the skin, we can correct asymmetry, enhance natural features, and save you countless hours in front of the mirror.
At TAB SPMU, safety and artistry go hand-in-hand. We use only the highest quality pigments and sterile, single-use tools to ensure your results are not only beautiful but safe.
Essential Care Guide
-
24 Hours Before: Do not consume alcohol, caffeine, or take blood-thinning medication (such as Aspirin or Ibuprofen) unless prescribed by a doctor. These can increase bleeding and affect pigment retention.
-
1 Week Before: Stop using Retinol, Vitamin A, or active skincare acids near the brow/lip/eye area, as these thin the skin and increase sensitivity.
-
2 Weeks Before: Avoid Botox or fillers in the treatment area.
-
Sun Exposure: Do not come to your appointment with sunburned or peeling skin on the face.
-
For Lip Blush: If you have a history of cold sores, we highly recommend taking an anti-viral medication 3–5 days prior to prevent a breakout.
-
Your aftercare is just as important as the treatment itself. Poor aftercare can lead to up to 60% pigment loss.
-
Keep it Dry: Avoid getting the area soaking wet for 7 days. When showering, keep your face away from the direct stream of water.
-
Clean Gently: Use a damp cotton pad with sterile water to gently dab the area morning and night to remove lymph fluid.
-
No Makeup: Do not apply makeup, creams, or sunscreen directly on the treated area until fully healed (usually 10 days).
-
Avoid Sweat: No heavy exercise, saunas, or steam rooms for at least 7 days. Sweat contains salt which can fade the pigment.
-
Trust the Process: Do not pick, peel, or scratch the dry skin/scabs. Let them fall off naturally to avoid scarring and patchiness.
-
What to Expect Healing is a journey—don't panic if your results change day by day!
-
Days 1–3 (Dark & Bold): The pigment will look up to 40% darker and bolder than your final result. This is normal oxidation.
-
Days 4–7 (Flaking): The skin may begin to flake or peel. It might look patchy or itchy. Do not pick it!
-
Days 8–20 (Ghosting Phase): After flaking, the fresh skin underneath may look "milky" or like the pigment has disappeared. This is called "ghosting."
-
Weeks 4–6 (The Bloom): The color will slowly return and settle into its true, soft shade.
-
The Top-Up: A follow-up appointment is usually required at 6–8 weeks to fill in any gaps and perfect the color.
